The economic index of the current business situation for German stationary retailers continues its upward trend in September 2014. The index rose by 1.4 index points to 109.5 points. The expectation of the business for the next three months also increased by 2.1 index points. Only the expectations for the next twelve months continue its slight downward trend, dropping to an index value of 117.5 points. Every third retailer asked, assesses the revenue growth compared to the same month last year virtually as unchanged.
