MY FIND FROM THE WORLD´S LARGEST SPORTS TRADE SHOW

ISPO 2017 in Munich – over 2.700 international exhibitors present their newest products from Outdoor, Ski, Action, Fashion, Performance Sports, Textiles, Health & Fitness, and Sourcing. I saw a lot of cool new fun stuff that I believe I need now. If consumers could buy on site I would have walked home with at least three kick ass backpacks, four to five new coats, a longboard, a skate ramp that imitates waves and much more… There is plenty of cool stuff to see, test and talk about. However there is one thing that really stoked me and made me dig a little deeper. What I found is more than I expected and this is why I would like to share this impressive story with you.

FROM WASTE TO STOKE

The story is about Luise and Felix two ocean enthusiasts, passionate surfers and professional product developers. The two innovators created the first sustainable surfboard fin based on ocean-recycled plastics. Sounds like a cool product neh? There is more: They created a stunning documentary and  prove their mission. The movie reveals the transparent value chain from waste material to a performance product for surfers. The unrivaled story is underlined by surfing, adventure and great personalities they met on their journey. Thx Lusie and Felix, you made my day. All the best and good luck.
