THE SERIES PROFILES EIGHT DESIGNERS REPRESENTING DIFFERENT FIELDS IN THE INDUSTRY

Meet eight of the most creative thinkers and imaginative minds working in the world of art and design today in the new Netflix original documentary series, Abstract: The Art of Design. The series was created by former Wired editor-in-chief Scott Dadich. The first season profiles illustrator Christoph Niemann, Nike shoe designer Tinker Hatfield, stage designer Es Devlin, architect Bjarke Ingels, automotive designer Ralph Gilles, graphic designer Paula Scher, photographer Platon, and interior designer Ilse Crawford.

 

RALPH GILLES – CANADIAN-AMERICAN AUTOMOBILE DESIGNER IS HEAD OF DESIGN FOR FIAT CHRYSLER AUTOMOBILES

Gilles styled the North American Car of the Year-winning 2005 Chrysler 300 after joining Chrysler in 1992. Gilles also led the design team that created the 2014 SRT Viper.
